Botanical name: Cinnamon verum.
Ceylon cinnamon is the only true or real cinnamon. Ceylon or True cinnamon's texture and flavor are both distinctly different from other so called "cinnamon" spices, which are often referred as cassia, Vietnamese, Indonesian or Chinese cinnamon.
Ceylon cinnamon's texture is fine, soft and crumbly. Its flavor has a hint of citrus and is very delicate, as opposed to the harsh and strong flavor of other types of "cinnamon."
Product of Sri Lanka.
