When ordering Gilles Hervy's fleur de sel, please keep this in mind:
This is a very small family run salt producer. While they have the best rated fleur de sel, their production is extremely limited (for every 80lbs of salt produced, only 1 pound is fleur de sel!). Because they are such a small operation, sometimes flaws in packaging does occur.
By flaws in packaging we mean: on some of the glass jars, the labels aren't applied perfectly or that the metal top of the glass jar is mildly scratched.
We always observe products closely before we send them to you, and we could assure you these mild flaws in packaging do not affect the quality of Gilles Hervy's products.
